On Friday, a group of friends and I attended the Nelly
and Sean Kingston Concert at the Allen
County Fairgrounds. I was able to attend the concert with some of my best friends along with my boyfriend. The concert started at 7 p.m. and went to about 11:30 p.m. We started the night off with a quick dinner at Panera Bread before we headed to the fair. While killing time before the concert we walked around the fairgrounds, visited the rabbits and ate fair food.

I had received tickets from my marketing outreach
manager at my internship. He had received six VIP tickets for the entire week
of the fair and I had the opportunity to use the tickets for the night of the Nelly
and Sean Kingston concert. It would have been cool to be down in the pit by the
stage, but I enjoyed being on the VIP deck because we had room to move and
there was a nice breeze.
From 7 to 9 p.m. two different artists went on, one was
from Lima and the other was from Dayton. None of us knew either of these artists,
but they were both a good kick off to Sean Kingston going on stage and doing his set. Around 9
p.m., Sean Kingston came out on stage, which meant I finally knew some of the
songs that he were singing. Sean Kingston was on for about an hour, and then it
was time for Nelly, which I think I knew about half of his songs. Nelly
finished up around 11:30 and it was time to head back to Ada.
It took us about 10 minutes to get out of the fairgrounds and back on the road to Ada. Overall, we all had a good night and couldn’t have
asked for anything better, especially a free concert. I definitely woke up the
next morning without a voice, but I wouldn’t change the memories or experience
for anything.
