As soon as class got out on Friday, I got in the car and
prepared to made the six hour drive up to Ludington, Michigan where my family
was camping. I just had to drive home to where my mom was waiting for me, so we
could do the rest of the drive and I could be a passenger. During the four-hour
drive from Ada to home, I saw 15 cops and three car accidents. Once I finally
got home, I quick ate dinner and then my mom, the dogs and I headed north to
Poncho’s Pond. By the time we finally got there, it was bed time for me because
it had been a long day of travel, class and work.
Monday morning, my mom and I got up early and headed home, so I could make it back to Ada before it got dark out. We got home around 10 a.m. and then by 11 a.m. I was back on the road to Ada. After about an hour and fifteen minutes I was in East Lansing and made a detour to Michigan State to have lunch with Luke. After about an hour I was back on the road. Finally, after three hours in the car, I made it back. Now it was time to do homework and get ready for classes on Tuesday. Overall, it was a relaxing weekend spent with family.
